Frequently asked questions

Preserved moss (otherwise stabilized moss or decorative moss) is a specially prepared natural moss that serves as an element of decoration for many years. It does not require special care because it is not alive and does not grow.

Preserved moss is widely used in interior design and floristry. Decorative moss is most often used in greenwalls, but it can also cover spaces like ceiling or floor. It can also be used to create various natural pictures, pot decorations or fill furnitures, such as glass tables or desks. Preserved moss is also very popular in occasional decorations such as wedding bouquets, centerpieces, wreaths, table setting.
Decorative moss can be in fact used in so many ways, that you are only limited by your imagination. 🙂

Products are delivered via courier and logistics companies in the form of shipments or pallets.
In the case of ordering the assembly service, we deliver the ordered products with our own transport.

Loose moss, thanks to its flexibility and elasticity, does not require special protection, but we try to ensure that each of our products is safely and reliably packed in cardboard boxes, bubble wrap and marked with a warning tape. Additionally, the parcels we send are insured.

After receiving the moss package, we recommend that you open it quickly. Moss placed in a sealed carton may not have sufficient moisture to be stored in this way for a long time, and may become moldy or dry.

No, you shouldn’t water or trim the moss! Preserved moss, due to the process of stabilization has lost nutritional functions – it does not grow. If you water the moss it can actually dry out by excess water inside.

Stabilized moss should be placed in places inside the house or the office where it is not exposed to external factors. Perfectly you should store moss in a shaded place, away from a heat source (such as a fireplace or radiator) and not exposed to direct water spraying moss.

No. Preserved moss cannot be placed outside, because it is not resistant to weather conditions such as rain or strong wind. It would get damaged.

The humidity in the room where the decorative moss is located should be between anywhere 40% and 60%. The same humidity is recommended for humans. This will ensure that the moss does not dry out or accumulate too much water and retain its original appearance for many years. If the room is too dry, you can place a humidifier in it.
